SFMOMA welcomes you!
We thank you for helping keep our community safe—and for coming to experience art in person with us. Enjoy the galleries and stay as long as you like during open hours.
Effective Monday, May 30, 2022, SFMOMA requires masks in all indoor spaces for visitors age two and older. Masking will create a safer, more accessible environment for our community during this time.
We encourage you to reserve your tickets online. Tickets may also be purchased onsite on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are valid for one day only. General admission entry is not timed; the Diego Rivera's America exhibition does require a timed ticket.
SFMOMA may use waiting lists at some popular exhibitions to manage capacity. In these cases, you will need to sign-up for a space in line at the exhibition entrance. Due to limited space, admission to these shows is not guaranteed. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Open Friday-Monday from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and Thursday from 1-8 p.m. Beginning July 5, SFMOMA will be open again on Tuesdays. Closed Wednesdays.
Everyone in your party must have a ticket.
Tickets purchased in advance may be exchanged for a $5 fee; expired tickets cannot be exchanged. For group ticket exchanges, go to Group Visits. No refunds.
Mobility devices are allowed; loaner wheelchairs and cane chairs are available at coat check on a first-come, first-served basis.
For special exhibitions, Individual members can book up to 8 free tickets over the run of an exhibition. Dual members and above can book up to 16.
